Ramada - Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines
Hoping for refund ripoff

I have just registered for a vacation in Florida with this company. As I was on the phone with them it occured to me to research them online, but, I foolishly decided to do it after the conversation. I was so disappointed to read the unending number of complaints against Ramada.
The way I was pulled in was as follows. I was called to complete a survey (random questions about affording health insurance) and promised a free cruise. I was dubious about it, but looked up the Imperial Majesty Cruise Line website and it seemed legitimate. I was called today with details about the cruise and was asked if I was planning to stay longer in Florida.
I responded "yes" after which the representative proceeded to offer me a discount package to stay at two Ramada locations in Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando (breakfast, lunch and dinner included) with a 7 day car rental with unlimited mileage. Then when I posed some detailed questions the manager came on the line and threw in accomodations at Ramadas in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Las Vegas.
I told them I wanted to think about it, and besides, I didn't have the money now anyway. They promptly reduced the price from $498 to $398 and offered me to pay in monthly installments. They have already deducted the first payment of $99 from my account, but I plan to put a stop to that, closing down my account if I have to.
What I would like to know is, has anyone been successful in getting a refund? If so, what measures have you taken?
