Over charges, late fee, phone fees, rate increases, they made it so you can not get ahead New York

Discover card calles 6-10 times a day. Asks my daughter that is 14 year old personal information about myself and my family. I start with owing 2500.00 on this account now after making twp paymetn a month I still owe more than I started with at the begining of the month.

If you try to sent a payment early so you dont get a late charge. They credit to the month before so you have two payments in one month and no one in the month you sent it for. You get charges for paying on the phone they called me I did not call them. Charges for interest of 35 percent. My interest rate has changed so many time I can not keep up. Then you get over the limit fees because you make extra payment to get under that amount the month before than then they add all the charges for the next month you are over again.

There is no way to get ahead of this I know owe them over 5500.00. I ask to make a settlement offer they no longer do that. I took money out of my retirement fund to pay this off now it is not the right amount to pay it off. I jsut want them to be fair. I am not trying to get out the what I owe... I just asked them to adjust late fees ect so that I could have the right amount to pay it. They stated NO! Pay the whole amount. I went on a plan two years ago to get this payed down they took a set amount of out my account and stated when I finished I could do a settle but they no longer do that. How do you ever get ahead and get things taken care of...
