Received email asking help to get hidden cash out of nigeria i searched for link to official site to report scam

Thinking i was on legitimate site to report scam, i was contacted by Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, advising me it was a scam.

He then asked me if i was interested in helping catch the criminal. I replied i certainly was interested.
Supposedly, i helped catch several criminals, & i was feeling real proud of my work. Then, i got a citation for my good work & contributation, also a decree for $350,000.00 compensation. Of course i was extreamly proud & happy!

But then there were fees for U.S. Customs, fees for taxes. Fees for court costs, etc. After selling most all i owned, skipping my car payments (3), borrowing from friends & neighbors, to a total cost of $5,000.00, i find there is one last charge of $2,000.00 to bribe 5 top government officials. But there was no more money to be had! I was flat broke!

Even when my youngest son died, ribadu consoled me, saying he wished i was his mother. He began calling me mom & i called him son. I loved him & i trusted him!
He claimed he loved me like a mother, & i believed him with all my heart.

There are hundreds of names & addresses of scammers i have on file only because i was helping him catch criminals! The money can be replaced someday. I will still have a roof over my head and food, but the real and tragic damage here has been to my self esteem, and my emotions. Even the grief of my sons death was used to scam me of more money, because i was going to use some of the compensation to procure my son's ashes.
