CHECK SCAM - $3,115.00 stating check is from Camino Real Mobile Estates ripoff

A check came to me in a white envelope in the amount of $3,115.00 with the return address of YOURCASHLIVE Box 77, Suite 1, Global House, Poyle Road, SL3 OAY, Berkshire, United Kingdom. The physical check said it was from Camino Real Mobile Estates, 15820 South Haklan Road, Lathrop, CA 95330.

It looks very real! Even the signature appears handwritten. I couldn't understand why I got a check in this amount, so I told my mother who immediately called information for Camino Real Mobile Estates to see if they really existed - the phone number is (209.982.0130).

They were already aware of the scam and told me the account is closed and there is an investigation going on. They wanted me to send the check back to them for the police - I made a copy and returned it. They told me the only thing wrong on the check was the street address.instead of Harlan Road, it says "Haklan Road".
