Company won't credit my account for product sent back ripoff

I originally received an email from Shapely Secrets touting their product and with a special introductory offer which I fell for. I contacted them via the website and gave them the information to charge my account for the introductory price just to try the product.

Well, I received the product and did not care for the individual results that I received and put it aside. Low and behold in checking my bank account a couple of weeks later I noticed that I was charged an additional $26.98 which I did not expect since this was not the introductory price. Then a few days later my account was charged another $26.98 and I received a package in the mail from them which I had not requested. Since we were in the process of moving the package was boxed up and found a couple of days later. I contacted the company on several occassions before finally getting through to someone by the name of Missy who stated that the process from the time they receive it until the time it shows up on my account would be 30 DAYS!!!

To begin with I never heard of a company keeping your money an extra 30 days from the time that they receive the product to get it back to you. The worst part is that I did not contract for this second shipment in the first place and to be without the money for over a month is ridiculous. Trying to get through to an operator at this company is also ridiculous, you are put on hold for an extended period of time only to be hung up on or the line goes dead.

To this date I still have not received my money in my checking account and want something done. What a rip-off!

The product does not work on me and then I am without my money. I am mad and want some action taken immediately. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO STOP THEIR PRACTICE AND THINK OF THE CONSUMER FOR A CHANGE.

It is not the $26.98 they took from me but the principle of the matter.

Please stop this practice from continuing.
