I had my resume listed on CareerBuilder so it wasn't unusual for me to get solicitations from different companies. On one fateful day, I got a response from Michael Jameson, C.E.O. Of barnz_developers.in his email, he stated that his company was located in Latvia and he had 2 positions available in the US.

"You will get: 5000 USD Guaranteed monthly and life insurance for you and your dependents, he stated." What is the catch, you say? Well, the position in question is that of a Transfer Manager and you are responsible for receiving payments, cashing them and in return wire transfer the cash through Western Union. Simple enough I thought. How wrong was I.

So I immediately responded to the email. As a requirement, I had to submit my bank account, routing number and address in order to set up the transfer account. I trusted the integrity of the company because they insisted that all applicants be "honest, loyal, responsible and hard-working." I was told that the reasonable and lawful instructions woud be provided to me by their company.

Within a week, I received my first assignment. I was shipped four (4) money orders that were $1000 each. I was told that I was to cash the money orders at my bank and wire the cash $3600 (minus my $400 commission) through Western Union to some couple in Stockholm, Sweden.

Sounds normal? Not really. When originally I was told that they would wire money into my account and then I would send it through Western Union?! And why were they sending me money orders from someone other than Michael Jameson?

I had a deadline to fill so I followed the instructions. I went to my bank but they couldn't cash the money orders. They instructed me to go Walmart where the money orders had been purchased.

I walk into Walmart, money orders in hand. The young lady @ the Service Desk tells me that the money orders have already been cashed. Her manager took a look @ them, went to the office and came back with the POLICE.

The POLICE stated to me that the money orders were fraudulent and questioned me about where I got them. At this point, I was near tears. I walked out to my car, retrieved the email with the instructions on it and the NEXT DAY AIR UPS ENVELOPE that money orders were mailed in.

As you may already know, THIS IS A SERIOUS CRIME. If I didn't have proof that these money orders were mailed to me, I might be sitting in prison right now. I warn anyone! Do not accept offers from barnz_developers or michael jameson. They are fraud.
