Abusive, Ripoff, Liars

During a relocation I fell behind with Amex. They closed the account and forwarded the balance to GC Services. I called GC Services to inquire about the balance as my home sold and I wanted to clear up my debt. The lady on the line was the most abusive person I have ever encountered, she even called me a loser because I went into debt.

I hung up on her. I received a call the next day from another rep. He took my payment over the phone. I was at a meeting and did not have a check routing number. He told me not to worry that they have it. Three weeks later I get a call from GC that I gave them the wrong routing number.

I explained to no avail and once again made the payment in full. Next month I find out that I have a returned check fee for $38, Interest for $45, Late Fee $15, Interest charge of $2. Getting screwed PRICELESS. I sent all the information to Steve Arras the manager at GC Jacksonville. He told me that it will be up to Amex if we can remove the charges (total lie according to Gahesh at Amex).

Long story continued I paid in June at total of $189 additional to make sure it was closed out permanently.in July I received a balance of 3.80 for interest the day after the payment and an update to my credit report of delinquent payment in the amount of 192.00. I called Steve again. He does not answer the phone. Went as far as writing to experian to dispute and they never responded. It is criminal.

I need to hire a lawyer and sue these bastards. I have proof of balance in my account also when they say I bounced a check. Nasty people that need to open their mouth in public if you know what I mean!
