I would recommend anyone interested in the Fashion Design program at IADT, to CONSIDER applying to a reputable school in NYC. If I could do it all over again I would apply to FIT or Parsons. You will have a better opportunity for internships. The instructors are also qualified. The instructors at IADT are very poor quality and some instructors treat the students very poorly. I complained to the Director of Fashion about the comments being made. Some intructors where so mean that they made us feel uncomfortable. They acted like we were suppose to know what they were teaching us already. If we are paying a lot of money we should be treated with respect, not like idiots. After all that is why we are attending the school. To learn and be instructed, or else what would be the point of going. The admission reps are dishonest in promising internships and job placements, as well as transfering credits. FIT in New York only accepts a few classes. Good luck and do your research.
