Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing. Illegally took money from my checking account without authorization

Ultima Patch, LLC contacted me through a message left in my e-mail. I responded to a FREE sample for shipping and handling of $6.95. Figured what the heck, if it worked I would order from them. Never did I agree to any further shipments nor was it ever disclosed to me that I would be billed for additional merchandise. I did not find out about this until three weeks later when I got my bank statement and found that they had debited my account for $69.90.

I called Ultima Patch and they said I had not cancelled within the ten day time period and I told them that I had agreed only to their free sample and nothing else and that they were not to charge my account again. The very next week they charged another $60.00. I called them again and was told that this was for their Live Lean Program so some crap like that.

I again told them they had been told not to debit my account and to mark any file they may have as closed. I inquired about a refund and was told that the merchandise had been shipped. This was now about 3 1/2 weeks after the initial OK for the FREE sample! I was charged overdraft fees by my bank and had to close the account to stop these people.

They refuse to refund the amounts taken out. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in Florida and would like to see these people put out of business! I am lucky, however, that my bank is working with me to get these amounts refunded.in addition, here in Florida they may be charged with exploiting the elderly as I am over 60!

I see that they are doing this all over the country and are making a killing by taking advantage of people. They need to be stopped and made to refund each and every person they have defrauded!
