Ripoff dishonest misrepresented lied to won't call back ripoff

First of all Jeff gates told me if I give him a copy of my current credit services statement he said he was certain he could save me alot of money compared to what I was paying now. Once the analysis was done he came back to my office and verbally said he could save me about $400.00 or a month or more. I briefly read over the contract and was relying on him to be honest enough to tell me the contents without having to read it word for word!

I never was told I was signing a non-cancellable lease $79.00 a month for the terminal for the next 48 months/otherwise I would have walked right away at that point. I was currently paying $35.00 a month for the terminal I had originally. I also was never told that my contract automatically renewed unless I sent in a written request 30 days prior to it's expiration!

They sent me up two accounts rather than one, so now if I cancel I will incur two cancellation charges not one. I was also by told by Jeff Gates that Merchant Lynx would pay any and all cancellation charges that I would incur from my existing credit card company.

When it came time for that, my existing credit card company debited my account for $500.00 and when I checked with Merchant lynx to get my money back they said "Is it in your contract?" I said I'll have to check but Jeff told me you would pay my cancellation charges and at that time I had asked for Jeff to give me a call. I have called their office over 50 times and requested a meeting with Jeff and no luck!

They finally got back to me and said they had met with Jeff and he said he had no recollection of ever saying that. I told them I had a witness in my office (owner of the company) the day he brought the papers to sign and could he just come by so we could discuss the matter. After me calling several times (for about 4-5 months) they finally agreed to give me half of what we had agreed on.

Here is this guy Jeff Gates that sells you their services and after signing up he's never ever to call back and say anything like how's it going, thanks for your business, just vanishes! It's almost like sorry about your luck pal! I feel like I was misrepresented, lied to and can honestly say I will NEVER do business with them again once I get out of this! I haven't ever came across a company that represents themselves in this manner in the history of the last 20 years of being in business.

I guess the days of taking a person for their word are not quite like they used to be. He looked me right in the eye and promised something that he said he never said and WON'T return one single phoine call. Oh and by the way I ended up paying higher rates with Merchant Lynx than I was with my existing company!
