Roger Hamilton And The XL Results Foundation
Bait and Switch Overpromised, Overprices website membership program Out of the Country

Education & Science

We joined XL Results Foundation back in Jan larger in part because of Mark V. Hansen. Mark sent out email invitations inviting a "select group" of people to his Private Birthday Party in So. California. He included in his invitation that he would have a special gues there from the Asia Pacific name Roger Hamilton that he wanted everyone to meet. We went all excited at the opportunity to get to know Mark and his friends. The "party" turned out not to really focus on Mark's birthday but actually was a set-up for Roger to gain contacts in America to sell his high priced website membership to. We were told Mark would be leading and directing the America group, that there would be plenty of opportunities to work with Mark and his associates in business ventures, contribute to charities, get books published by Mark's new publishing company (that he guaranteed would sell 50,000 copies the first year) and on and on. We were also told that there would be excellent opportunities to speak on the platforms organized by Mark and Roger and XL Results Foundation as well as marketing opporunities. The price tag for this exclusive club was $10k. We joined thinking we would be able to work with Mark and get speaking opportunities and book publishing assistance. After only a month and a half into we got an email from Mark's organization stating that Mark would no longer be involved in XL as he is too busy with other projects including assisting Roger Hamilton get his book republished in the United States through Mark's publishing company. Shortly thereafter we begin getting emails from XL Results Foundation about Roger's book. Stuff like order in bulk Roger's book and XL members will get a discount. Furthermore the membership consisted of putting your personal information on a XL membership website that will take a person hours to comb thru to find people to email to in hopes of making some connections.in my opinion this membership is worth at best $39 bucks a month! We emailed several people with XL inquiring about speaking opportunities and was either ignored or pushed off to different people. As far as marketing opportunities basically you could market in XL Results magazine for another $3500 bucks a shot! When also inquired about the book publishing and was told by a Hansen representative that they only publish well known established authors. Go figure. I guess some people will say anything to get your money. We starting trying the cancel our membership in late Feb. With no response from XL. We didnt receive any response to our cancellation request until nearly April.By then Xl had automatically withdrawn from our credit card $2838. I notifyied Wells Fargo my credit card company in March (after not getting any response from XL) however, they continued to allow XL to charge my card in April and May. XL complained they never received any cancellation from us. The funny thing about that is they sent an email stating this with one of the cancellation emails I had sent them weeks before. Apparently their representatives don't read email attachments to well. It is now June and XL has refunded back to my credit card for 3 of the 5 months they charged us. I am still waiting for my other $2000. I hope that by writing this XL will see it and decide to do the right thing and refund us back the rest of our money. Their representative told me that he would assist me in selling my membership to someone in order to get my money back. I told him no amount of money is worth it to money if that's what it is going to take to get my money back.in no way could we in good faith sell this membership at this price to anyone! I wouldnt want anyone to get mislead by this organization and taken advantage of. Do people deserve to make money? Yes of course! However, whenever you offer a service or product your customer should walk away feeling like they received more than what they paid for! The founder and president of XL Results is supposed to be a multi-millionaire. Now I ask this question, "Why in the world would a multi-millionaire want to hang on to an unhappy customers measly $2000 dollars"? Unless of course if the person is not really a multi-millionaire or then LACK intergrity period regardless of their cancellation policy. We run a business also. If we have a customer who is totally unhappy with our products or services and feel they didnt receive the value that we promised we would refund their money in a heartbeat!
