Winston Financial Management
Fradulent Trip Reward Notification won $50,000 ripoff

Education & Science

I got a letter in the mail saying I won a cruise trip and $50,000 enclosed was a check. The only reason I thought this could not be a scam is b/c of the check. It was very real looking. We called the number and someone answered the phone just as you would answer your home phone, "Hello." No fancy business greeting or anything. Then when I asked for 'Albert' the gentlemen asked if I could call back in 15 mins.

In those 15 mins I googled the company name and found all these other rip off reports. I did call the same number back 20 mins later and the phone was answered "Winston Financial Management, how can I direct your call?" I asked for 'Albert' again, just sat on hold for 15-20 mins and finally I hung up.

Big fat waste of time and I hope people will read this first before they get scammed or have to waste their time. Remember, if it's too good to be true, then it probably is.
