Rip-off used my car as collatoral for personal loan

This person sold her car to me and that she was following her boyfriend to Chicago. We payed cash for it. Five months after the purchase was made I was stunned to find two repo guys standing at my front door telling me that Rachael Rowe owed money on a loan that she took out before she left the country. They then informed us that she is not in Chicago but is actually in Western Australia. We were left without a car and had to purchase another one.

When the we went to contact the police they told us that they couldn't do anything because she was out of the country. We also found out that there are three other families whose vehicles were also repocess and are in the same situation.

We got the car back but had to pay alot of money to do so.

When we finally found out her phone number we rang her and she didn't seem to phased about our situation and told us that she was in the process of filing for bankruptcy.

To this date she owes us $6000
