Does NOT Pay His Talent ripoff

I was hired by Tomas Link from the The Link Agency via Craigslist to work a convention in Baltimore, MD. During the hiring process Tomas replied to emails immediately, answered calls and was very nice and professional.

After the five day event ended, and it was time for all the girls to get paid, he became unavailable. After emailing him numerously about my paycheck, I received nothing. Luckily, I had contact information of the client who hired him to staff their event. After calling her and explaining the situation, she informed me that they had paid Tomas over two months ago. Yet, I still did not receive my check.

The client called Tomas and discussed the situation with him on my behalf. A week later, I received a check in the mail, but it was over $200 short. My attempts to contact him were once again unsuccessful, and the client couldn't do anything more, except vow that she will never use his services again.

I believe the agency is a one man show - Tomas - and he runs a scam business.
