The Wealth Improvement Network is an investment club. On October 5, this club had a guest speaker named Robyn Thompson, a real estate investor and instructor, speak at the club meeting to promote her real estate investment seminars. I signed up for a seminar that was to be held on February 1 - 5. The speaker, Robyn Thompson, promoted that her seminars have a 100 percent money back guarantee, which is also stated on her website. Ms. Thompson also stated verbally that is a person is unable to attend her seminar, they may cancel.
In December I discovered that I would be unable to attend the February seminar. I contacted Robyn Thompson's company, and they would not allow me to cancel.instead they attempted to just change me to a seminar on a different date. I did not want to do that. Therefore, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the $1995.00 charge. The charge was removed. However, shortly thereafter, the Wealth Improvement Network contested this charge removal. I again disputed the charge. However, as of today, April 13, the $1995.00 charge has been rebilled and still stands on my credit card.
The bottom line is that I did not receive the service; I cancelled in ample time; and I should not have to pay $1995.00. The Wealth Improvement Network knows that I did not receive the service, and has basically stolen my money.
