Deceived us regarding alcohol purchases for our wedding ripoff

Prior to our wedding, my wife convinced me that instead of going through a large liquor store in the town she lived, we had to go through Buster's because the owner — Rusty King — is an old family friend. Rusty assured us that he would give us the same deal that the bigger store would; that deal included ten percent off the retail price of all purchases and that any unused bottles would be bought back, by him, at the price we paid. He assured us that if we paid him before the wedding, he would cut us a check the day after for our refund amount.

Months went by, and Rusty continued to lie to us about sending the check, the amount of bottles returend, etc. Eventually, Rusty sent a check for about around $350, a fraction of the amount he owes us. He claims that a number of the bottles returned were broken; however, after speaking to our very honorable caterers, they assured us that they personally returned the bottles and that none were broken. They were even willing to file an affidavit. This many is a liar and a thief and people need to be educated about his fradulent, disturbing business practices. Avoid this store at all costs!
