N.M.E. Important delivery letter of 2100000.00 sweepstakes ripoff

I got a letter saying important delivery letter.inside that they written that:

Dear Ritesh,
we are trying to reach you regarding your $2,100, 000.00 sweepstakes id#*.
Please call us at the above number. This is a free call.
Sincerely - Pat Haines, Sales representative.

Expiration Notice: we must hear from you by the deadline on the front of this mailer. Otherwise your id number will expire.

After reading this letter, I called them and tried to find out which company is this. I didnt give any personel infomation. They asked me if I have visa or maestro card, I said yes. Thats all. After that I felt that it is something fraud and check on the site. There are many complains like this. Now I am just worried what harm they can do to me? Do I need to report police?
