Hilltop Sweepstakes, MDM Enterprises, INC. DBA Hospitality Resources / Riverside Bank - Hilltop Sweepstakes Hilltop Lotto notifying me that I won the lottery. 160,000.00 Enclosed was a bogus check for taxes 1996.00 Georgia Amsterdam Netherlands

On Oct. 6th 2006 I received a letter in the mail stating that my name attached to ticket number 090569 was drawn therefore I had been approved for a lump sum of U.S. 160,000.00 (One hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars.
This money was to be credited to file: FFC765574/00 and was from a total cash prise of U.S. 9,851, 260.00 (Nine Million, Eight Hundred Fifty One Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty Dollars).

In order for me to get my lump sum they enclosed a check from one of their financial sponsers in the amount of 1,996.00 dollars to help cover any taxes.

I was also informed that all North American Winners should contact Claim agent, at 1-514-581-1377 (or 1-604-725-2739 (which was always unavailible).
All winnings had to claimed on or before Oct. 13th.
After this my winnings would be returned to the Hilltop Sweepstakes as unclaimed.

Every time I would call the numbers they gave me it would give me a busy tone or no one was availible and of course 2 weeks after I toke the check to the bank and got it cashed I received a letter from the bank where the check was cashed. They wanted their money back.
Now I am stuck paying a 100.00 payment every two weeks until it is payed or they threatened to turn it over to the courts.

I thought I was finally going to see what it was like to not be buried waist deep in debt only to find my self deeper. This has really caused a hardship in my life.

I did however make a copy of the check (front and back) from their financial sponser (Riverside Bank, Atlanta, Georgia) Also known as Bank Of North Georgia (member of FDIC), the Riverside Bank of Buckhead, and the Mdm Commercial Enterprises INC. (770-641-6336)
After getting contacted by the bank where the check was cashed I decided to do a little investigating myself only to find out that the phone number for the bank on the check was from Quebec, Canada. So I called information and got the number and the address.

The address for the bank on the check was 445 E. Pages Ferry Rd. And the correct address is 334 E. Paces Ferry Rd. The correct phone numbers are 1-404-846-4176/404-846-0501/770641-6336
Although I was never able to talk to anyone at the bank I did get a few of the employees' names (Tonya Philips,
Karen Smith Community Executive, and Laura Rawls who is the Bank Office Manager)
The Bank of North Georgia has 20 bank offices and a web site www.banknorthgeorgia.com.

The check number is 4732 dated 09/20. Account number 0611035350163196 the number underneith of the check number is 64-353-611

At the top of the check it has MDM Enterprises, INC. DBA Hospitality Resourses 445 E. Pages Ferry RD., STE, 340 Atlanta, GA. 30305 1-514-571-9543 and at the bottom of the check it has the logo for the Riverside Bank Atlanta, GA.

I have tried to contact the bank through email but have yet to get a responce.
