Conrad Acceptance Corporation Scam, Ripoff, con artist

Education & Science

I, like many of you, am a victim of Robert Allen Institute (aka Enlightened Millionaire Institute, EMI, Enlightened Wealth Institute, EWI, and Conrad Acceptance Corporation).

I first heard Robert G. Allen speak at a Learning Annex seminar in Los Angeles where Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki also spoke. Robert G. Allen said he wanted just 100 people to make millionaires (not true). Tons of people flocked to the back of the room to sign up. The video he showed us mentioned a guarantee that if we were not satisfied in any way then Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen personally guaranteed to give you full refund (not true).

I paid $4995 for the Protege Program.

Then came a phone call before I even received our training materials. The call was from the Robert Allen Institute's Coaching Program. They asked if I wanted to make 3-5 million dollars in the next 60-90 days. They hooked me by guaranteeing that either I made 3-5 million dollars in the next 60-90 days or all my money back. With a guarantee like that - I went for it.

I paid another $6995 for the Coaching Program.

With all the promises that EMI made, my husband and I both quit our jobs to concentrate on Real Estate full time. We did everything the coach asked. The first coach consistently gave us incorrect information for our state and never returned our calls so we complained to EMI. They then transferred us to a new coach. We did everything he asked too but still only ended up with bad deals.

Then came a Wealth Retreat, a 3-day event featuring Robert G. Allen. This time, they hyped up the Masters Program. They hyped it up so much that tons of people flocked to join. They said if we wanted to be successful, we needed to joing the Masters Program. They also said that Robert Allen would personally make sure that we succeeded if we were in that program because his new book was going to be about the masters students and he would not write about failures. They convinced us that the Masters Program was the fastest way to be a millionaire. The catch was it cost $35,394. But, they would finance it.

I needed to make some money fast, so I signed up for the Masters Program and was supposed to pay $35,394 in monthly installments.

I took the suggestions they gave at the 3-day event and tried them out the next day. I was supposed to make $25,000 but it did not work like they said. Since nothing had worked using EMI's methods, I immediately wanted out. I tried to cancel the Masters Program enrollment 5 days later.

I called EMI who said that another company called Conrad Acceptance Corporation had my account and that I had to talk to them. I then called Conrad and told them that I wanted out. They said I only had 3 days to cancel. After 3 days, there was no way out.

I disputed that because when I signed up the person who signed me up said we had 15 days to cancel. (EMI staff said we had until the first bootcamp to cancel.) Conrad Acceptance Corporation then revealed that the two people who were at the EMI conference had already left Conrad so what they said did not count. I then talked to a woman called Kathy at Conrad who eventually promised to 'freeze' our account at no charge.

However, one week later Kathy called back from Conrad and said that they could not stop the first $2949.50 payment and would have to charge interests and late fees on future payments.

Since I had not made any money at all at that point (after many months of trying) in real estate, I could not afford to go to any 'boot camps'. Moreover, all the deals my EMI coaches talked me through turned out to be bad deals. So, I decided to quit real estate altogether.

I have neither received anything for the Masters Program, nor gone to any trainings. Now, Conrad Acceptance is trying to collect the rest of $35,394 plus interests from me.

EMI refused to acknowledge anything about what Conrad is doing. I even went up to ask Robert G. Allen himself at one of the seminar about refunds. Robert Allen said he had nothing to do with the financial side and referred me to the 'finance department'. The finance department referred me back to Conrad.

Conrad refused to acknowledge that I have not been a Masters student of EMI since the first week and have not received any products or services for that. I asked for my $2949.50 first payment back which they refused, saying once I signed up there was no way out.

Robert Allen Institute (aka Enlightened Millionaire Institute, EMI, Enlightened Wealth Institute, EWI) is scamming people. They hyped their programs up and once you signed up, you cannot get out. They and Conrad Acceptance Corporation are working together to rip people off and plan their scam so that it is impossible to exercise their so called 'guarantees'. They say anything for you to join and once you join their program, they don't do what they promised.
