Financial aid rip offs, poor handling of student loans and funds Pheonix

This is the second year in a row that my financial aid has been messed up. Verifications that were sent several times were lost and I was even told that I had not filled out my fasfa two months after I had done so and had the printed out proof in my hand. It took me almost a year to get a refund on two classes that I attended only twice and had to withdraw from for medical reasons.

And now I am getting letters saying the are turning it to a collection agency and that I can not attend class till I pay my balance and then in the next breath being told to refill my fasfa so that I could get funds to cover my outstanding balance. Then next was the letter stating that my student loans for the current year were being sent back to the lender for lack of attendance. I can't post till I pay and I can't pay till I post, had they not screwed up my aid to begin with I would not have missed any classes.

The fact that since enrollment my enrollment counselor has quit, I have had at least three academic counselors and I have lost track of the number of financial counselors I have had does not help. For each one you get that knows what they are doing and can get things straight, the next two will be imcompitent and screw everything back up. I call both my academic and financial counselors and rarely ever get a response and when I do it is in the form of a dooms day letter about you owe this amount and we are persuing collection.

Axia College was the worse thing that could have ever happened to Western International University. Bring back the days of compatant and helpful counselors. I am down to my last 8 classes to graduate and IF I can ever get my financial aid straighten out to finish them, I am traferring to a school Axia has no part of.
