Fraudulent appropriation of $ 8000 for absolutely no return

We are another company that was taken in by this so called business reseller. What we received was pretty much worthless.

The rep came in to see us January 25. He took a check for $8000.00 supposedly to pay a major business evaluation company to do a search and establish a fair market value. That never happened.

The original representative was J Wayne Lee who brought his daughter in to meet us. I suppose that is why I thought that the company was legitimate. I had several calls from a business evaluator, who is legitimate, asking questions so that he could help establish a true value for my company. This guy did his work but he told us on November 13th that Alliance Acquisitions owed him a lot of money for his work. He gave us a name for an attorney on Georgia. We haven't been able to speak with him yet.

I had been checking the web for info on Alliance when I ran into all of these rip off comments. I am just sick. I am sure many are as well. I would never hire a company again to sell my business.
I keep wondering if there are any legitimate business sellers out there at all.
