Agreed this company utilizes bad business practices for employees as well as customers ripoff

I too worked for encore payment systems and I was encouraged to see others spreading the word about this company. There was another messenger on this helpfull website named tom that nearly sumed up my entire experiance with encore. I'm not as lengthy but just blunt. THIS COMPANY IS RUN BY SCAM ARTISTS!

The only reason there's not more post on this site is probably due to the fact that theyve only been around for less than two years.in the 5 months I was with this company I got behind on my bills, nearly got evicted (if not for my folks) and had my self confidence destroyed.

I've had other sales jobs and was very successfull but these guys buttered me up with the earnings promises and let me tell you THEY DONT HAPPEN-oh and this dustin guy that commented back on toms post - hey jerk - your the moron thats on roberts team that they put on conference calls every week talking about how great encore is and about how much money your making - yeah I was on roberts team and I bet their paying you extra to spread their lies. Oh and "presidents club" well that means you only sold 100 accounts moron.

So what encore does is they fly you down to dallas (coach of course), put you up in a hotel they probably have a trade out with, and tour you around their telamarketing office. But if youve been their for 11 months now and only sold 100 accounts I bet your only making 1500 as your average is what less than 10 accounts a month? A ooohh-

What tom pointed out is that the money with comissions they say their salesman make doesnt happen. Tier 1-2-3 in training and talking with their recruiting dept they told me the same thing. So at worst I though I was going to make over 60k but that does not happen - they flat out lied to me. Especially the trainer.

Look the big money is in selling equipment but not business owners were willing to pay 97 a month for 48 months for an encore 9000. The encore 9000's i did lease I ended up leasing at rock bottom price for 60 per month for 48 months and my commissions got nailed down to nothing. And the business owners I sold them to I felt guilty about later.

I knew I was ripping them off but I had to make living. What encore told me to say to the business owners when they objected to the total cost of a 48 month lease was that leasing equipment had more tax benifits. They told my to tell the business owner that it was a way for them to "hide money" from the government. They said that a lease is 100% deductable whereas, with a straight out purchase of a machine you can only depriciate the upfront payment over a 10 year period.

Now I'm not a math guy but if you buy a encore 9000 at sams for $500 as opposed to leasing one for 97X48months= $4,656 wouldnt you still make out better just buying the machine outright.

I screwed my customers who really where nice people who I befriended and encore screwed me. If this company contacts you through monster run for your live and merchants if they contact you DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR RIPOFF LEASE SCAMS!

The worst part about it is they 10-99 me now i'm screwed and i owe the united states government money and i can't pay them!
