Education & Science

I received a yellow post card in the mail, Identified as an "urgent gram, " indicating that I had been identified as a possible qualifier for a government grant of at least $5,000. I was interested as I had been trying to get information about governmnet grants.

When I called the number a young female initially took basic inforamtion. The entire time I was speaking with her she was snapping gum! Very unprofessional to say the least. Knowing this was too good to be true when she said she would be transferring me to another representative for a review of my information I asked if there was a fee for this and she said "no." I was told I would have to provide, as a first time applicant, either my driver's license number, social security number, or state ID.

She then transferred me to a man named "John Wallace." I was asked if I had debt over $5,000 and had an open savings or checking account. Then the bomb.in order to qualify for "free" money I had to pay $299.97. John informed me that it didn't matter when I paid the money.

Yeah right, not for me. I wouldn't need a grant if I had money to blow on this!
