When my father was calling from jail, he had no change and no calling call. The only option he had was to call collect. He called 2 locations. One location was only 3 miles away from the sheriff's department. That call was less than 5 minutes. ZPD charged the phone bill 5 minutes at $25.25. I called the company and the operator said there is a minimum charge of 5 minutes. The other location my father called to get a hold of someone so his family is aware where he is was 50 miles away with a call of 4 minutes at the price of $4. The company was Correctional Billing Services/Global Tel-Link. It does not make sense. How can a company outragely make charges like ZPD???
