Ripoff Degreeboard listed Northeast State as a college that accepts DETC credits and it DOES NOT! Do not rely on the list you see here or on degree board

I got an associate of specialized business degree with a major in accounting from Education Direct, now known as Penn Foster.

I did a search to find college board putting a list out and also I saw it on this web page, listing all of the colleges that accept detc credit for transfer. I just enrolled at Northeast State Technical Community College and found that none of the DETC credit I received from Penn Foster will be recognized!

Do not rely on lists you see. Call the school and get them to tell you. I had to spend 40.00 in transcript fees to learn this and had to apply to Northeast State. Just a word of warning. That now I'm sure that the other colleges on this list also do not accept DETC credits. Somebody said Harvard was on the list... Uh. I don't think so!
