Ripoff

I recieved a green card in the mail saying that i could possibly get a $5,000 grant or more from the federal government. The payment was 299.97 I gave my infromation and they took the money. I was promised that I would be recieving a check within two months if I didn't get at least $5,000 then the would refund my money.

Well months went by and I kept calling and I was promised something in Aug. And still have not received anything since March. I tried calling and the number was disconnected. So I went on line to look up the web address they gave me and it did not come up so I did a web search and found this.

I really would like to get my money back I feel stupid enough because I actually asked them on the phone if this was a scam and they promised it wasn't.
