Don't send money to Canada for the spherion group! Ripoff

Please do not fall for the same scam my husband and I did. This is an awful thing to do to vulnerable people. My husband and I are educated and hard working people with an autistic child and enough troubles for anyone.

So when "the spherion group" contacted us and offered a loan with 7% interest as long as we paid the 1800 insurance fee, we were excited. We borrowed the money from my mother because we knew we could pay her back within days. And then the nightmare began.

We went to western union and despite their warnings, we felt the company was legitimate and I guess out of desperation, we fell for their deceitful scam. We sent money to a lady in Canada. Supposedly her name was Nancy Webber. Well, when someone gets the "code" from the money gram, they don't need ID to retrieve the cash.

Sadly, I checked the interenet too late to find the many reports of fraud that they have committed. This is truly devestating to the many people struggling everyday to make ends meet. When you work for every cent and everything you own and still struggle despite your efforts, an offer like that seems like an answer from above. Well the answer was that we are now even further back than we ever were.

This has been absolutely devestating and I can only hope that this report saves someone else from the true devestation that this has caused my husband and I. Now someone in Canada (they do NOT, according to the FBI, operate out of the USA) has 1800 dollars that took me two weeks to bust my butt earning.

Please do not let this happen to you. Be smart and investigate companies and policies fully prior to sending any cash anywhere. And the reason these people are able to keep doing this is because they are outside of the US's jurisdiction which leaves people who have been a victim of their fraud with little or no recourse.
