The National Parapsychology Center ripoff, scam

On June 14 Maria Duval sent me a letter asking me to send her $45 for a "detailed astral-clairvoyant forecast" which was supposed to also come with a birth stone necklace with diamond if I mailed her the $45 within 48 hours of receiving her letter. I did send the $45 to Maria Duval within the prescribed 48 hours.

In 2 subsequent letters received only days later, Maria Duval requested almost $100 more for talismen, etc. Goods not received to date. Did win $11 in lottery 7/8 using lucky numbers she provided. My $45 check has not yet cleared my bank.

I am planning to contact them tomorrow to see if I can stop pay the check. Have already made a report to fraud.org. Advise that others do the same.

Internet search results indicate that Maria Duval has been scamming people for years, especially exploiting seniors like myself. Has been run out of country after country and closed down.indications are that Maria Duval is actually in Canada at this time even though her mail indicates the Everett, MA address. No phone, email, or address verification can be found in the USA or in Canada.
