Ripoff abused & mistreated ripoff business from hell

I recieved my CDL in the year 2000. I trained with Dallas Mavis Trucking. I then went to work for Ravens Trucking in Milford Illinois. I sprained my knee and I was off work for 3 months. I went back to work for Ravens and then the trouble began. I had breakdown after breakdown, due to inexperienced mechanics.

I quit 3 times and still went back. I am not a glutton for punishment but I am absolutly not a quiter. On October 3 200 I dropped by the garage to have my flashers repaired because they wouldnt work correctly. I was at the shop for 6 hrs. When they were done I was told that they had to replace a axle seal on my tractor (semi). I got approx 15 miles and the whole axle and wheels came out and I pulled over. I got out and the tires and axle were sticking out and the brake drum was on fire.

Thank god I was stopping when this happened and thank God no innocent person was injured or killed. I put the fire out calmly as I was trained to do. This was at 6 in the evening. I had left Little Rock Arkansas early that morning. I was told that I would have to switch trucks. I was exausted. They came 3 hrs later.

I called the manager asked him to find someone who could finish the load he said no. I left early in the morning exausted and rattled. I got up by Chicago to get fuel and a cash advance and slipped on the step on the truck they gave me. (I didnt want that truck before because of the step) I sprained my knee again. I drove home and told them I couldnt drive no more because of swelling.

They didnt believe me. They told other drivers I was a con man. I am not a con. I Earned my CDL to make a better life for my family. They reluctantly gave me a few weeks workers comp then cut me off. They sent me to one of their Doctors who wrote a report that I was 85% disabled because of pain.

Yes I was in pain because Ravens insuraunce company refused to pay for any pain medication. Neither did they pay for Doctor ordered physical therapy. My attorney must have been paid well. Because he wouldnt fight for my rights.

They would not hire me back. I even wrote a 6 page letter to DOT. I talked to a dot investigator and handed over all my log books. (Which were never returned) The dot investigatot told me and my girlfriend who was there at the time that they had been investigating Ravens for years. And the last time they inspected their trucks they were fined 40,000 dollars.

My attorney would not handle a whistle blower case and niether would anyone else in my area. I guess money talks. And I didnt have enough. My attorney said Ravens wouldnt hire me back because I abondoned a truck. I called Ravens and Doug Bray the manager told me he said no such thing.

I asked him why I couldnt come back to work and he said he didnt have to give me a reason. Last year I filed for unemployment benefits the reason they didnt hire me back was because of a lack of work. No other reason. I recieved unemployment for 26 weeks. I didnt recieve anymore until the extension came out a few weeks ago.

Now if they wouldnt hire me back, and they didnt fight the unemployment, why cant I have my job back? I was a good driver. No accidents, no tickets, no DUI, I didnt fail any of their drug screens. Yet I have seen ads in the paper where they are wanting drivers.

I paid for my own Medical examination by an independent doctor who states in writing that I am physically able to drive. I am stumped. Ive called this company 30 times the past year and they say they have no work. Yet they keep hiring new drivers. Now they have newer trucks, because I contacted DOT. Dot wrote me a letter back saying thank you for my concerns for safety. And yes they did find numerous violations at Ravens.

The head mechanic and others were fired because of this incident, but yet I never got my job back. I want that job back, and I still call them every week. I always recieve an excuse. I want this job because of the principle, and they are closer to home. Yes I am a whistle blower, but there are no margins for error when your driving through a busy city with children on the sidewalks and crossing streets. If I saved 1 innocent childs life or someones mother or father or anyones life for that matter it was worth writing that letter to DOT.

I can use any help I can get at this time. Why should the state of Illinois pay me unemployment when I am perfectly capable of doing the job I was trained for? I got ripped off, the people of the USA were ripped off for unsafe vehicles on the highways, and the state of Illinois is being ripped off at this very moment.

I am going to fight this to my last breath if I have to. I cant live on unemployment, the state shouldnt have to make up for their mistakes. I WANT THIS JOB BACK!!! Please help GOD BLESS AMERICA
