I too have been lied to by Debit Solutions Foundation, Inc. And Family Credit Counsleing Corp. (their affiliate). Family Credit Counseling (FCC) notified me 11. The FCC main office was "devastated" by the effects of Hurrican Wilma. What did that mean to me? As of that date my creditors stopped receiving monthly payments. This went on for 4 months. I too could not talk to a live person, faxes went unanswered as well as e-mails. Needless to say, my credit is now in the tank. I am trying to re-build plus get caught up on past due bills. I was assured by FCC that my creditors knew of the devastation. They did not. Please beware of both of the above companies. I asked for my refund on the original $299.00. FCC told me I needed to request this from Debt Solutions Foundation, Inc. I've made 1 call and 1 fax into Debt Solutions with no response.
