Ripoff

We received letter from State of Michigan denying our state tax refund due to a garnishment. We have no knowledge of this. Called Midland Credit and were told was for a debt dateing back to 1986.

They say I appeared in court over this and agreed to it - this is a bold face lie. It looks like they are getting judgements against folk without their knowledge.
We called their number, the man was rude and offensive - refused to give my husbnd ANY information other than stated above.

I have never been served with any papers of any kind, do not owe any debts of any kind.

Previous years, have always got state tax refunds promtply and now this. We are senior citizens on a fixed income and certainly cannot afford to lose this exta money.

These people are crooks!
