Ripoff

I received a postcard in the mail advertising a guaranteed grant for at least $5000 from Kensington Consulting Group. I called and they said that I would receive at least $5000 in grants. All I needed to do was give them my bank account information so they could draft $299.97 plus $29.95 shipping and handling.

Well, they wasted no time deducting these amounts from my checking account. This was back in December.

The postcard made it sound like they would be distributing the funds; but, after numerous phone calls to their customer service department, they sent nothing!

After all that, they sent me a list of grants they said I qualified for, which I didn't. When I decided to go back to college to get my medical transcriptionist degree, I thought the Kensington Consulting Group would be my salvation in trying to fund my continuing education.

I have one child in college, soon to be two in the 2006 fall semester. If I knew that Kensington would take money away that I desparately need to send my children to college, I would never have bothered!
