Ripoff deceptive company

Last August I enrolled in an on-line college called Fit For Life (http://www.fitforlife.com) for a degree in Natural Hygiene.

There was a clause in the enrollment application that allows one to withdraw in a 30 day period for whatever reason the may have. This so-called college is located at 5 Scurfield Blvd. Unit # 20 Winnipeg, Manitoba R3Y 1G3, Canada.

So, I pondered on my decision made to take that particular course or not. I changed my mind right after the September 11 disaster that changed all of our lives. I realized that life's too invaluable and too short to do things that you may regret or can't help you in the future (if you're still around).

Oh, I myself was assigned to the Morgue / DNA recovery detail during the beginning of the clean up phase. So, I sent numerous e-mail messages stating that I wanted to withdraw from the program - I received no response. I then faxed several written requests to
withdraw and get my money back and from then to now I'm still waiting for my money back.

I'm getting nothing but excuses, that since 9/11, everyone's having financial problems and they can't give me anything until someone in my region enrolls into their college.

Then I'd send my unopened box of books & materials to said person to get their tuition fees which would in turn be my refund. My question to you, is there some other way for me to get my money back from these cyber scam artist / criminals?

They rope you in via their web site and have a clause in their enrollment application that they don't abide by. Any help or advise in this matter with be greatly appreciated.
