Ripoff

I received a letter dated April 22 asking me to resolve a seriously delinquent account. There was also an offer to settle for a 40% discount.

I have never received a bill from AT&T Wireless and have only had a cell phone through mine and my husband's business. The alleged amount due is $1236.79 and they only gave me 20 days from the date of the letter to settle.

I went online and found that I am not the only person who is being approached and wanted to file this report to see if there is anything that can be done. I have read other reports where their credit record has been effected.
