Landmark merchant solutions nightmare
Beware to all who is trying to decide to do business with this company.
Our business was ready to go to the next level, we inquired the internet for options. Sales Kevein Perez was on my phone within an hour, explaining all the percs that this company is willing to do for us, free 20 pg web site, pos tranactions, personnel customer service any time. The contract was faxed and I reviewed each pg w / kevin on the other side, stating different options that can be revised. Well I did the signing, 24hrs later I recieve a call from the processing company, the amounts of fees were different by 140.00 additional monies, I rejected, I didnt agree to those fees.
I called my personnel rep kevin perez to try to understand this mix-up. We told him that I wasnt aware of the additional monies, and I wanted out of the contract. Well Mr. Perez started yelling stating you signed this contract if you cancell, I promise that your credit and good standing w/your business will be ruined. I stated that I was not going to be snowballed and taken advantaged of. I called, emailed, numerous times to talk to a higher rep, no reply. I packed up the machine sent it back, closed my business checking.
Well I thought my dealing were deemed over, since I followed legal advice and cancelled with in 72 hours.
YESTERDAY, We recieved a demand letter from a collection agency demanding 3000.00 dollars for breech of contract. I called the agency, explained the situation, they replied, You can pay 2345.00 pay-off and then your credit will be spared. You will not win, so take the pay-off to save your business. I refused, we are going to counter-sue. We recieved not one service from this company. I was threatened on the phone by kevin Perez, poor business practices are a regular event. We are going to be reporting to all business bereau's and web addresses, class action suit that is in the making. Landmark merchant see you in court. This rip off company LANDMARK MERCHANT has no solutions, only dishonest practices.
