Fraudulent charges, multiple billings Ripoff

OAN Services via my SBC/ATT telephone bill has billed me in the amount of 15.40 for the last two statements.

I called the 800 number in March and was told the services had been agreed to by an individual I do not know and who doesn't even live in the same city. I was assured by the OAN rep that the service would be cancelled and the charges reversed.

Here it is April, I open my bill today and sure enough - there it is again. I called OAN back tonight and was once more reassured that the service is cancelled and that the charges will be refunded.

An SBC representative noted that I would not be paying the two months billing and would file a 'claim' on each charge on my behalf. Somehow, I have a feeling I'll be dealing with this again next month.

Having worked in the sales/marketing field and in the telemarketing serv.industry I am familiar with how slickly people can be signed up for services without realizing. However, I know I didn't sign anything. I know to LOOK at what I'm reading, signing, paying for. Etc Proven by the fact they are trying to say some guy I don't know is the one who put this on my bill.

I hope that something comes of all the reports made against this service company.
