Summit Group Publication
Almost Ripped me Off, I was ready to send my application in the mail false promises, CA

Education & Science

I was seconds away of sending Summit Group
Publication 'REGISTRATION FORM' with $30.00 plus $5.00 shipping and handling cost.

We did our check first by calling the number listed and got a voice recording that brought a partial yellow flag.

It was a recording, with no way to contact any of the personnel working there. They did say however that all the information listed on the brochure was all you needed at this time to get started and to send your registration fee with shipping and handling cost right away.

It says on the brochure Would you stuff envelopes for $1,000's weekly $5 for each envelope you stuff' and another line says, Our company is anxious to use your service in mailing our brochures.

OUR GUARANTEE: we welcome you to this program and extend to you our unconditional guarantee that everything that we have said about this program is true and that you will be delighted with the money you make. Our goals and continued success depend upon your 100% satisfaction with the HOME MAILERS PROGRAM. Payments for all stuffed envelopes are sent to you before you are required to mail them. Therefore, your PAYMENTS FOR ALL STUFFED ENVELOPES ARE GUARANTEED!'

So, you see, It's rather easy to be convinced everything is OK and no problem. I did check with West Covina California Better Business Bureau, but found nothing.

Last I did check on the web and still found nothing. However a friend did find this web site (http://usacomplaints.com) and informed me on the contents they found on this company.

There are so many sites with promises to make money and with guarantees.

1. I think that first off these people must have a registered business license number printed on there brochure and on the web site.

2. A traceable number with any Better Business Bureau.

3. Better Business Bureau address of that state they are working out of.

4. A toll free number to that Better Business Bureau.

5. Better Business Bureau web site. (Should be available Government funded)

6. ALL Better Business Bureau to work together and with that states Attorney General.

This number can then be checked quickly on the web with better business of that state and of course with sites such this. A check and crosscheck procedure should be available to anyone at anytime.

One more thing If Better Business Bureau was to operate more like a state Motor Vehicle License Department, this program will fund itself and protect us from the BAD GUYS.

The point of all this is to buy something with no problems and make money with no problems.
