Gmac mortgage, Homecomings ripoff foreclosure and quick sale after arrangments agreed upon with loss mitigation non co-operative wit new lender. Almost lost the 99000$ home for 38000& loan

Beware of companys your mortgage is being sold to!!! I recently lost my job and missed my 15 day grace period, I called loss mitigation to make arrangements they were very kind and said just to call them and due to the circumstances it would be alright just make a double payment and all will be good. I was instructed to call and let them know when the payment would be sent by western union there. I called on the 7th of the month and stated I would be western unioning the money now, and that was when the stuff hit the fan. THEY HAD PUT MY HOUSE IN FORECLOSURE ON THE SECOND OF THE MONTH!!! So much for trying to be responsible (oh and i had someone listen on the telephone for proof) they refused all payments and put my house on quick sale which was less than 30 days away! I called a lawyer she could not believe they would not co-operate with her. Other lenders tried to help yes there are some good ones out there. They refused to give them a pay out so that ended thier help. I geuss the moral of this is we rather take the roof that youve had over your head for 30 years without incident untill now. Oh and their own lawyers said dont talk with gmac anymore (makes you wonder if they know the truth!) it cost me 3,659$ for their lawyers cost and payments one in advanced. Please help stop this.
