We got several letters from department of unclaimed awards or national bureau of prize information (nbpi. We actually sent in our $20.00, then my husband looked on line the same day and found a web sight that said it was a fraud. He called the bank and stopped payment, you have to stop payment on the check and also on the routing number because they can still take out money by using the routing number to your account. But we are still receiving letters every day saying we are guarnteed these monies. Stating that it is over 3,000, 000.00. We have tried calling the numbers they have put on the notices but they aren't working numbers. We have tried even calling information to get the real numbers and they have no record of such companies. They need to be stopped.
