Ladies of Color Promotions

Education & Science

Ladies of Color Promotions, ran by Shelly Dean Barnes Pope, was opperating under false pretence. This was suppose to be a traveling company as well as a promotion company, scamming people out of money for vacation packages and promotions for trips to events through out the country.

Prior to Black Bike Week, which took place over the Memorial Day weekend holiday, Ms. Pope swindled money from numberous people, trying to get an event going which was to include a waterpark theme, parties, a bike raffle, and hotel accomodations. Things never panned out the way they were suppose to pan out though. All over the country, people have bought raffle tickets to try their luck at winning a motorcycle, and to no avail, there was never a raffle. Futher more, investors who were trying to help out in this cause to help someone become an enterpriner, got swindled out of anywhere between 20-50 thousand dollars. If anybody has bought packages or have bought raffle tickets in thought that they were going to win a prize, needs to file a complaint to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) or some other federal complaint agency.
