E-Pro Auction
Charged me for product and services I never received

Education & Science

On February 17, I was unfortunate enough to purchase this company's "e-pro auction success kit" that was advertised in an email that was sent to my email address. Upon reading the advertisement the company sent I was under the impression that this company was actually a division of EBay itself. After extensively reading the official ebay website for the last half hour, I find absolutely NO reference or endorsement of "E-Pro Auction".

When I ordered the company's "success kit" on February 17th for the shipping cost of about $4.00, I was told that the "kit" would be mailed out in (or up to) 14 days from the date of purchase. It is now 17 days after the date of purchase and I have received absolutely NOTHING from this company. Not only that, but over this last weekend, I noticed a $49.95 charge from this company on my credit card statement.

When I phoned this company today to question the charge and question where my "kit" was that I ordered, I was insulted enough to be hung up on by the first representative, and the second representative I spoke with had the audacity to tell me that it was MY fault that I hadn't received the "kit" because she said in the company's terms & conditions that it states that at purchase I "agree to call the company if I don't receive the package in a few business days". After reviewing the company's terms & conditions as sent to me via an email from the company after I purchased the "kit", no where on the document does it state that.

Second of all, there was a 14 day free trial of the "kit" and unless cancelled within 14 days upon receipt of package, the $49.95 monthly fee would be charged. How can I take advantage of a free trial, which I was promised upon purchase, WHEN I NEVER RECEIVED THE "KIT"? When I further inquired with this agent, she was incompetent, vague with her attempts to answer my questions, had no explanation to why I never received the "kit", refused to allow me to speak to a manager, and was down right rude.

This company is a rip-off... Plain and simple. And after doing further research today, I see that other people from across the United States and Canada have had the same problem with E-Pro Auction. The Utah BBB also has over 185 complaints on this company for mostly delivery, billing and refund problems from October to present.
