PC Repair ripoff Scranton Pennsylvania

In March I began the PC Repair course, When I got the first set of books I was amazed it was all Windows 95. I rang the company to tell them that the information was so far out of date it was unbelievable, but i decided to stick with it to see if things would improve, it did not, I rang Education Direct again and told them I would not pay for really old information. They then put my account into collection.

Last year I paid what i was supposed to pay to the collection agency and I rang Education Direct up to find out why I couldn't log on to the site to finish my course I was told that they had canceled it. OK if you do that where is the rest of the course I paid for, eventually it did arrive in February you guessed it old information. A quote from the Installing and Upgrading A Computer Sytem Manual Page 13 Should you Upgrade it talks about 386 systems then 486 systems now if Im not correct I was using these systems in 1993. It also tells you how to upgrade from Windows 95 to Windows 98 yippee saying as Microsoft don't give customer support to Windows 98 seems futile to even put the book into print.

To say I got ripped off I would say so would I recommend Education Direct to anyone else. I think not. The most decent thing Education Direct should do is get that Collection of my credit report.
