Ripoff consumer rip-off fraud

I recieved in the mail a post card that promised a credit card, at the time of course as a college student I am trying to fix my credit and this seemed like the best way. I later decided that I did not want to recieve this service and called them by the date specified to either push back the payment or cancel all together. Whoever I talked to told me I was told the wrong day and that my check had already been sent, and I needed to do a stop payment if I wanted to cancel and they would also stop processing my account when the check just bounced. Pissed off that I had to pay for their mistake, I payed it and my bank messed it up the stop payment. They ended up getting my money and when I called to find out why the still took it, because supposidly my account was also closed they said they had no proof that they got my money. Well after this they claim that I can send them a copy of my bank statement and they will reimburse me, but they haven't done anything. I confronted the girl on the phone about the bad reputation they had and she got very angry with me, i also asked if I am at risk for them taking more money out of my account that I did not authorize... She didn't know how to answer. She said if I signed up for other things I could be. I hate these people, I hope they realize that what goes around comes around, and I along with a lot of other people would like my $199.95 back! MelissaEast Lansing, Michigan
