Webloyalty Fraudulent and unauthorized monthly debit card charges ripoff Nationwide

Sometime in early December I ordered purchased some movie tickets through amctheatres.com (or moviewatcher.com - that's where they send you for your credit info) using my debit card. After confirmation of my purchase a flashing button popped up and said "Click Here for $10 Off your Next Order". I clicked it. I decided filling out all the requested info was not worth it and closed out.

Later in the month I was checking my bank statement and noted that on Decmeber 13 there was a $9.00 charge from WLI Shopper's Discount. I didn't recall purchasing anything for that amount or from that company, but thought I might have forgotten a Christmas purchase and dismissed it.

The following month, I was once again balancing my checkbook and found the same charge again on January 13. Now the red flags went up.

I contacted my bank and they told me that my husband & I should both get new MAC cards, but they didn't know who the debit was from. I was told to come into the bank and fill out a Federal Regulation E form to get my $18.00 back.

At this point, I did a web search on this company and, lo and behold, there are hundreds of others just like me who fell victim to the same scam. I was able to get the phone number of WLI Reservation Rewards and contact them to discontiue all UNREQUESTED "service". I also informed them that I would be lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and letting everyone I know about thier fradulent and seemingly illegal business practices.

Anyway, this is just a warning to all of you out there - don't click the flashing buttons - they're not worth it.
