Ripoff, course payment miscalculated

Well I may just be looking for a place to vent but here goes:

Today I receive a call from my financial advisor—Let's call him "Bob". He tells me that I need to pay $900. More for my LAST class! Yes that is right. Suddenly I owe more money! Last June I was contacted and told that if I would schedule my classes back to back instead of leaving a week gap, that I would not see an increase in fees or costs etc. Etc. So I did. Now they are telling me they mis-calculated! I need to pay more!"Bob" stated that he has had to call numerous students today and tell them that they owe more and I should consider myself lucky because some people owe $2700.

I blew my top! This is the second master's program with UOP that this has happened to me in! You would have thought I learned my lesson the first time, but hey I figured it was my mistake then. Not this time!

My classes were paid for by a student loan and yes I received a check of what is called "overages" Well I believe that in both cases they know exactly how much money was sent back to me and now they want some of that.

I am looking for those that might have already started a class action suit against the university. I told "Bob" that I would tell everyone within listening distance not to ever go to UOP!!!

"Bob" told me that he would get back to me in January and figure out how I am going to pay this $900! It is a scam, plain and simple. Here I am in my last class, ready to graduate and this happens... I wonder if "Bob" gets a cut?
