Tried To Rip Me Off for $11.89

A envelope arrived labelled "Sensitive Mail-Do Not Obstruct Delivery-Route Immediately". The two letters inside looked legitimate with punch card marks, yellow highlighted areas and one gold seal placed on each letter.

The letters stated I am a confirmed winner of $1,000, 000.00 dollars and could collect it by "one lump sum of $555,000.00 or 30 annual payments of 33,334.00". To do so, I must respond immediately and send them $11.98 "for the premium acquisition".

They listed a Reference Number 810706843 and requested payment within the next 7 days. There was additional jargon that stated I would receive $2500.00 of merchandise discount coupons redeemable with "major retail establishments" and stated on a separate insert that this was guaranteed satisfactory with a 100% refund if not satisfied.

I have the envelope, the return yellow envelope and all letters and insert.
