A VERY similar con occurred to me by this young kid as the story from Lawrence (http://w3. Usacomplaints.com/reports/ripoff97606.htm): the model that was stranded without enough to pay for the car rental. I had attempted to go with him to pay for it at the rental place (near LAX), but he found a weak spot in me and got me to cave in.

I'm extremely offended and find my kindness abused. The authorities gave me a hard time and made me feel THAT much smaller. They mentioned that another person was conned just yesterday, but with a different twist to the story. The aweful thing was that I tried to be as diligent and quick about my response when I learned about this when I got home, but the authorities just brushed me off and lectured me.

It was sad to have come across this entry, but glad people are trying to help/alert one another.
