Ripoff call on my cell phone that won't take no for an answe

These people are persistent!!! I have been receiving phone calls from an 866 number on my cell phone for the past 2 months. After initially answering the number and not understanding the person on the other end, I assumed it was a telemarketer and hung up.

Today I was home sick from work and decided to take the call, only to have the thickly accented person on the other end pump me for personal info in the name of "free money" while refusing to give any name other than the agency name and promises of information after he got HIS info. I could get a minimum of $5,000 if only I give him my bank and routing number.

I stalled him long enough to search the company on the net and luckily found this site. He refused to accept my "no" and take my name off the list, instead trying to assure me of his legitimacy. Luckily I hung up before he could get any further than my bank name! (Which my bank assured me was not damaging)
