Classic Boiler Room Scam, Ripoff

I interviewed at this place and about halfway through the process I realized I was in a real snake pit. This is a classic boiler room operation where pushy "A-Type" personalities with "F-Type" morals and ethics scam financially desperate people into signing over 4 years worth of ACH debits on their bank accounts.

Even Fran Tarkenton, the ex-Vikings QB, has somehow been roped into the pitch (unbeknownst to Fran - I hope! Please tell me he's not that desperate or crooked).

They sell you a service that is essentially worthless, an internet based drop-ship business identical to the thousands upon thousands of cookie cutter, home based "franchises" already operating on ebay.

You too can be one of 137 other suckers all trying to outprice each other on the same Korean made travel iron with the smart steam feature (you get the idea).

Every slime ball working the phone works from a script designed to play on your emotions, get you excited, loosen up your defenses and then the boiler room tactic kicks in.

They make you feel like shit over the phone, get you to admit how desperate and helpless you are until you're completely browbeaten into slave mode..."Yes master. I will sign the agreement, master. Oh thank you master!"

I don't why, but Dallas (and Addisson especially) seems to be a magnet for MLM and boiler room scams.
