I called to cancel "my membership" that was being charged $12.00 everytime and they tried to ask why, yada yada. I bluntely interuppted and said STOP. Just cancel the thing now, I am recording this conversion and want it stopped/cancelled immediatley. She said she won't cancel it unless I stop recording the call. I said ok it's not recording it to my hard drive anymore, she was like... Are you sure?

I said, yes I am sitting right here and disabled it. She said Ok your membership has been cancelled effective this date (yada, yada) and your card will not be charged anymore. I said, Thanks and since I'm not recording anymore can I get your name, She said her name, then I asked for her last name. She said I can't give you that.

So I said do you have an employee number or something I can use in case my card is still charged. So she gave me her corporate number, then I said thanks! So now I have your First name, corporate number, and a voice recording of you telling me that my membership will be cancelled and my card will not be charged any longer. That should hold up just swell in court so you better make sure I am not charged again and then I hung up!
